The sequence for management selection may be summarised as follows:

  • The brief: Developing an understanding of the client's businesses objectives and culture, defining the role and the person specification.
  • Advertisement: Preparation of the advertised copy, layout and design using the Mitchells Group house style but incorporating the client's logo where appropriate, determination of the media and all the arrangements for publication.
  • Evaluation: Screening all applications, interviewing relevant candidates, including internal applicants, and compiling a shortlist for presentation to the client; and handling all the administration and responding to all candidates
  • Final Selection & Offer: Presentation of shortlisted candidates with an assessment of each applicant. Attending final interviews as required and assisting with final negotiations. Completing all the administration and dealing with the unsuccessful shortlisted candidates.

The Consultancy fee is agreed with the client prior to commencement of the assignment and is invoiced in three equal stages, payable at the commencement of the assignment, on presentation of the shortlist with the final third stage fee payable on appointment.

Expenses may be charged on a monthly basis and include consultant/candidate fares and subsistence, research expenses specially incurred, telephone and other incidentals. VAT is charged at 17.5% and Consultant’s mileage is charged in accordance with AA rates.
